On Thai Maasam 23rd (06.02.2012), Monday, on Punarvasu Nakshatram, around 8:00PM, on Sarayu Pushkarani (Temple tank), Thepotsavam (Boat or Float festival) was celebrated. Over 1000 devotees visited the theppotsavam.

2011 Aadi Tirumanjanam Photos

Aadi Tirumanjanam is being celebrated in Vaduvur temple for 48 days until September 12th, 2011. Click here for photos.

Sri Kothandaramar, Seetha Pirati, Sri Lakshmanar and Sri Hanuman idols are brought out of the sanctum sanctorium for the celebration. You could have a real closer dharsan of the enigmatic beauty of Lord Rama and others.

Aadi Tirumanjanam at Vaduvur (Vaduvoor) Temple

Aadi Tirumajanam (Abhiskhekam) is scheduled between August 9th, 2011 and September 12th 2011. During this time the Kavacham (body armour) will be removed for actual Tirumeni Darshan
